"I thought I knew what Dorothy Fields had done, Morag, but looking through the list of the songs here - "Big Spender," "Nobody Does It Like Me," "Exactly Like You" ... "The Way You Look Tonight." "Make The Man Love Me" is a wonderful song. "I Can't Give You Anything But Love (Baby)." "On The Sunny Side of the Street." I could go on and on and on. "Rhythm of Life," "Pick Yourself Up." She must have been writing for a long time 'cause some of those songs are much earlier than others aren't they?"

She'll tell you she owes it all to Julie Andrews and The Sound of Music... "I must have watched it a dozen times at the Odeon with my sister. I was totally captivated. So I'd jump on the bus and treat the girls to 'The Hills Are Alive' and 'Climb Every Mountain'. I'd also give them a burst of Sandie Shaw, Lulu and other pop stars of the day. I guess I've always been a bit of a mimic."

"I worked with Opera Circus on Shameless, directed by David Glass. He's very physical. There was a big tango at the end. Wayne McGregor was the choreographer on A Little Night Music, at the National Theatre. He was given a lot of space in rehearsal. He used massage to warm you up, cool you down, get you motivated. I loved all that connecting with each other. His dance steps weren't conventional. Very geometric, but bendy within that. When it was really working, it was almost like we were floating above the movement. It had a life of its own. It was like waves."
